Does The Secret work? Yes, it does! One of my wishes is to be a stay-at-home mom. I have been actively using The Secret for about two months now and we suddenly have a serious opportunity for me to become a stay-at-home mom! I have been wanting to become a stay-at-home mom for a couple of years, but now that I actively use The Secret the opportunity is suddenly presenting itself! Wow, I was stunned when I read the reactions to my latest blog entry today. I found out that I had receieved an award. And better yet, not one award, but two awards!

Oprah and The Secret

Oprah Winfrey is know almost all over the world. As a child, growing up poor, she wasn't the most likely candidate for being a immensely famous and populair talkshow host, yet she became one. And you know why, because she believed in herself! She (probably unknowingly ate the time) used The Secret.
And of course, being the successful and positive person she is, she did a show about The Secret, and not just one show, two shows. You can watch the slideshows and the comments on www.oprah.com, just type 'The Secret' and you find the shows (and some other useful links).
Why am I writing about this here? It has been a while since the show aired. Well, this Blog is all about being/ becoming a positive person and in the process achieving what you want. And if I say that The Secret is great, you'll probably think 'Yeah, sure, what has she accomplished', but when Oprah talkes about it in her shows, you know it must be great. And it is!
In short, The Secret says you can be or have anything you want and in short, all you have to do is believe and live your life to receive.
Well, that is just great, isn't it! You could buy the book or the dvd, or my book, but you could also just watch the slides on Oprah.com and read the story, that will already help you alot. Get inspired and live the life you want!

My first book is for sale!!!

And yes, faster than expected, my first book is now for sale through createspace.com. I received the proof of my book today and since I approved my proof, it is now available on createspace (https://www.createspace.com/3407338). And, even greater, it will be available on Amazon.com in a matter of days, or at the most weeks. I am so happy, I am sitting here with a big smile on my face. I really do believe you can achieve anything you really want as long as you believe it!
And if I can do it, you can do it too!!

Stay positive, you can do it!

Am I positive all the time? Of course not. I get negative feelings every now and then (and some days more than other). But I really do try to nip them in the bud and most times I succeed. I usually notice negative feelings pretty soon, but I also keep a coin in my pocket as a 'feeling-checker'. Every time I touch the coin I think about how I feel. If I feel positive, great! But if I don't I try to get my feelings straightened out right away. I must admit that sometimes it is a bit difficult, especially when I am really busy with my three kids (the eldest just turned 3 and the youngest is just 12 weeks old), when I have a lot to get done and they do not listen like I would like them to I sometimes have a hard time getting back to feeling positive right away. But I do try and it really gets better. And that is also important, I do believe I can do it, even when I am very busy and I notice that is is getting better all the time.
So my message is, stay positive, you can do it!

Yes, my books are on their way!

It took me a couple of days, but I have done it! As we speak, there is a proof copy of both of my books on its way to me! I am really happy, just a few weeks ago I would have never thought this possible and now I will have two books published in a matter of days, or at the most, weeks. It really can be done as long as you believe it and keep a positive attitude, 'The Secret'is so true.
Of course I will post the links to my books here as soon as they are 'on the digital shelves :-)'.
Why did it take me so long? Well, I like to put in a bit of hard work and puzzeling...so I did atract that as well :-), maybe next time I'd better attract a proccess that doesn't take that much time :-). Although it felt good to have figured out how to get everything done myself.

YES!!! I found a way to publish my book!

I wrote a book a couple of weaks ago, but found myself unable to get it accross to the great public. But now I found a really great way to publish my book without making any (big) investments! The site is called www.createspace.com and has a relationship with Amazon.com, so no worries about getting it across to a bigger audience.
And so you see, if you believe you can accomplish something you will and although you may not yet know the way to accomplish it, the way will show itself if you keep believing!

What helped me becoming more positive

What helped me becoming more positive? It was a book, just one book, called 'The Secret', by Rhonda Byrne. It has really helped me alot. I read it three times, consecutively, and I plan to read it even more often. i just want to internalize it and be the best person I can be and have what I want to have.
I have also written a (e)book based on The Secret, to help you (and myself) achieve anything you want.

My marriage actually improved!

I feel really fortunate to have a great husband and three great little kids. My husband and I have been together for 14 years, of which we have been married for 4. My marriage was not bad, but since we have very small children, it wasn't that good either. I started to focus on his downsides. I commented on everything he did wrong. But when I started being more positive in general, I automatically started to focus more on his positive traits and as that happened our relationship became more possitive and he has actually already changed somewhat and is doing more of the things I wanted him to do!
Is it pefect yet? No and maybe perfection isn't even that great after all. But I still want to improve myself (every now and then I return to my old habbit of focussing on the aspects of my hubbie that I consider to be not that positive) and in the process, whithout him knowing ;-), improve my hubbie as well!

Why is this blog called '2be4tunate'? Because I feel very fortunate, and you can feel fortunate as well!
I feel fortunate and thankful for all the positive things in my life. And the more I start feeling fortunate, thankful and happy, the more positive things come into my life. I really made a turn for the positive, and so can you!
